The Patient Locator allows facilities to track patients' progress as they move through the stages of care Different colors may be assigned to each phase of care so that all staff members can see at a glance the progress of an individual patient or the day's cases.
Permissions need to be assigned to the Patient Locator Form under Case.
Users will need to setup the locations under the Code Table Maintenance for the locations to be used in a center and assign a color to each location if desired.
NOTE: Locations are defined by the center. These may consist of physical locations or phases of care (OR1 vs Surgery).
Users with the appropriate permission can assign a current location, update to a new location, and add any notes associated with the patient. If a row is selected a user can right click to access the Registration and Case History Forms for that patient.
Use the Location Filter drop-down to choose whether to view all locations or just one location. Use the Exclude drop-down to exclude a specific location. Auto Refresh can be set up at desired intervals.
NOTE: Display is always for current day's cases and notes are only populated in this display.
